The information was gathered through media accounts that were available at the time of the attack or found through internet archives, including Google News Archive, The Internet Archive and NewspaperArchive.com.

2007 US Dog Bite Fatalities
In 2007, 35 dog attacks resulted in death: 18 child victims and 17 adult victims.

2006 US Dog Bite Fatalities
In 2006, 30 dog attacks resulted in death: 14 child victims and 16 adult victims.
