Miniature Horse, Jolly, Dies from Pit Bull Attack
Jolly Stayed Strong Until the EndLubbock, TX - Jolly, who was attacked by pit bulls at the Hearts and Hooves ranch, has died. Veterinarians said Jolly was doing well until blood clots began to form. Her kidneys and other organs began shutting down, but her heart stayed strong until the end.
"The vet said it was overall toxemia which is an infection that spread throughout the horse's body."
Honor (pictured) still has serious injuries. Since Jolly's passing away, Hearts and Hooves says they're angry. They spoke to a lawyer recently. You can keep track of their story and mission at their vox website. If you would like to help
