tremendous pit bull
animal violence, it appears a pit bull story slipped through the cracks. A Lubbock man, who shot a pit bull last week, was defending his dog (also a pit bull) and himself at the time.
Apparently, the offending pit bull broke into his backyard and attacked his dog. When the owner intervened, he got bit. This is when he shot the offending dog. The offending dog was taken to a veterinarian where it later died. The victim pit bull was also taken to a vet and is recovering.
