Pit bulls that attacked Amber Strode destroyed

Pair of Pit Bulls Destroyed
Springfield, IL - The two dogs, described as American Staffordshire terriers, a breed commonly known as pit bulls, who attacked Amber Strode after she died from a drug overdose Jan. 27 were destroyed. No one knows why the dogs attacked a nonliving human being. Police describe the scene as "gruesome."
