It isn't enough that the taxpayer already has to fund cleaning up the overpopulation mess caused by the Pit Bull community, now they insist that the tax payer assume liability for the inordinate risk of adopting out these dogs!

It's truly a Pro-Mauling movement!

Regulate NOW!!!!

Shelters protect their per animal expense ratios by excluding the liability that accompanies pit bulls, both in day-to-day operating costs as well as future liabilities. Pit bull advocates care nothing about the determination of a shelter to manage assets in order to best serve all animals and their communities. The pit bull lobby is nothing but a reprobate cult, comprised of useful idiots, in unwitting service to dogfighters and mill breeders.

Yes...and they claim the "Humane high ground" trying to save their Pit Bulls knowing full well they will kill other neighborhood pets.

A brilliant observation, above...

"The pit bull lobby is nothing but a reprobate cult, comprised of useful idiots, in unwitting service to dogfighters and mill breeders."

That about sums it up!

This year the ProMaulers were also successful in getting the effective dangerous dog law thrown out in Reading, PA.

The law is credited with helping to reduce dog bites from 130 in 1999 to 33 in 2006. As a result, the law _ or at least elements of it _ were not being actively enforced, the Reading Eagle reported last year

No wonder Virginia's politicos don't want to update their bite laws. This Virginia Senator had to fork over a whopping $30 for his dog's bite... not because of the bite, but because the lab was not vaccinated. http://wjz.com/virginiawire/22.0.html?type=local&state=VA&category=n&filename=VA--Senator-DogFine.xml
