Pit Bull Owners Sue Attack Victim, Realtor in Dallas
"Piece of Work" Pit Bull OwnersDallas, TX - It doesn't get any better than this folks. Recall the
pit bull owners in Dallas, whose two dogs have been accused of attacking people and pets in the neighborhood. These same pit bull owners are now filing a lawsuit against their realtors and one of the attack victims. The pit nutters are accusing the attack victim of "defaming" their family.
Debbie O'Connor suffered injuries to her finger and hand during the attack. The pit bulls, which belong to John and Cathy Harris, also bit O'Connor's dog. Their attorney, Wade Kricken, says O'Conner has created hysteria in the neighborhood, and because of it, the Harrises are now being spied on. Kricken adds that his clients have been "threatened and assaulted" as well.

The Harris family is also suing their former real estate company, Ebby Halliday, claiming that negligence lead to a second attack on a man and his dog on May 3. "When they were done showing the house, they didn't properly secure the house," said Kricken. "When the dogs came home, they got out the gate that was left unsecured."

After the last attack, animal control required John Harris to meet new conditions, including: microchiping the dogs, hanging Dangerous Dogs signs and getting a $100,000 dollar liability policy. At that time, Harris promised not to return the dogs to the neighborhood. Now, however, Harris refuses to disclose the current location of the dogs.
