DogsBite logo   Over 150 dog breeds populate the US. Studies show that two breeds account for nearly 70% of bites that end in death and serious injury. We must regulate these breeds or risk the safety of our families and pets.

Dog Attack Survivor Recounts his Attack

Glen Fuller Tells His Story
Rochester, NY - In a powerful video, a man describes his attack by two dogs: a pit bull and a bull mastiff. Greg Fuller said he was just walking home when he was suddenly attacked by a pit bull and a bull mastiff.
"I threw the big dog in front of the pit bull. He runs around this side. I throw him into the pit bull on this side and he goes all the way around and bites me here in the left knee," Fuller said. "Once he bit me in the left knee, I let the pit bull dog go in a panic to hit him and when I went to hit him the big dog, the bull mastiff bit me here on the side. I didn't know if he bit me in the ribs, the lungs. I just know I was out of breath. But when he bit me it sounded like biting an apple."
When the owner of the dogs, Kim Wright, finally came out and called the dogs off, she denied the whole thing. "What could I say?" said Fuller, "I'm bleeding like crazy and she says her dogs don't bite." The news reporters tried to reach Wright for a comment but were told by her sister, "She [Kim Wright] has nothing to say so there's no need to come back."

The dogs are still in the pound but they're not going to be put down. City Court Judge Mel Castro ordered the dogs be neutered, microchipped and carry a $100,000 liability policy. Who knows if Wright will abide by the order. In the meanwhile, Greg Fuller's medical bills are close to a thousand dollars and he doesn't have insurance. He's trying to figure out what to do to get them paid.

Reflexive Pit Nutter talking points spewed in a Parrot-like fashion during a moment of stress.

Just like the crazy Tatoo lady from Omaha claiming her dog wasn't viscous despite just attacking three people and tearing a toddler's scalp off!

The victim, Glen Fuller said, "I just felt that if it wasn't for my conditioning...”

So true! Not everybody can throw a mastiff around to block a pit bull. Since my community has done virtually nothing about pit bulls, perhaps the IRS will allow me to write off my gym membership and mileage as I pursue my mastiff slinging fitness goals. God knows I won’t have any income to report if yet another pit bull busts off his chain and disables me.
