Omaha City Officials Near Decision on Pit Bulls
Pit Bulls Will Be RegulatedOmaha, NE - After the June 25th pit bull attack that ripped little Charlotte's scalp off -- in addition to a string of other violent attacks -- the Omaha mayor and city council members continue to gather data regarding a new dangerous dog ordinance. In addition to an "outright" pit bull ban, city officials are also considering the following breed-specific options.
- Anti-tethering
- Mandatory spay / neuter
- Muzzling off property
- Prohibit felony ownership
