Pit Bulls in Evansville Make the News Again
Evansville, IL - After two vicious pit bulls mauled a helpless beagle, they finally got sent to the animal control tank. One resident of the neighborhood said the dogs have been a problem for years. Tuesday Evening, Tom Duff let his dog outside as usual. The pit bulls apparently dug their way out of their owners yard, and into Duff's. In a matter of 15 minutes, his dog Snoopy, was shredded.

Animal control and police were notified numerous times prior to the incident but neighbors say authorities either didn't respond, or took hours to show up. The pit bulls are locked up for now, but still have a chance of going home. Authorities say the pit bulls will be recommended as dangerous dogs to the Animal Control Board. If they are deemed dangerous, the dogs will either be put down, or rehabilitated.

The video notes that mail delivery for the area had already stopped due to the same dogs. Furthermore, the dog owner's home sits next to an Elementary School. It is quite clear that Evansville authorities have been negligent regarding these dangerous dogs. We can only hope the agency isn't dumb enough to give the dogs back to their owner or try to "rehabilitate" the dogs.

Spartanburh, NC - While a pit bull owner cleaned his dog's kennel, the pit bull charged through an open gate. The dog attacked the neighbor’s chihuahua and left it badly injured, including puncturing a lung. Animal control fined both dog owners for not restraining their pets. The chihuahua was not inside a fence or on a leash. After all, an unleashed chihuahua has a reputation for tearing off legs and faces of other dogs.

The pit bull was released back to its owner, which ought to make for a "happy neighbor" situation.

Pit Bull Owners Laugh as Dog Eats Cat
Baton Rouge, LA - Two idiots were arrested after they stood by laughing while their pit bull ate a kitten alive. According to the affidavit, when officers arrived, they saw two men, Jeremy Johnson, 17, and Travis Johnson, 23, holding the pit bull’s leash while the dog attacked two kittens, eating one alive. Both Johnsons were booked into Parish Prison on two counts of felony cruelty to animals and one count of criminal trespassing.

St. Paul, MN - In what shapes up to be a "bad day" for cats, over in St. Paul, another pit bull attacked and killed a cat. According to the neighbor, the pit bull killed the cat and bit the man trying to free the animal. The pit bull reportedly belongs to a neighbor who just moved in. The extent of injuries to the man are unknown. It seems fair to say that the pit bull owner won't make any friends on the block. Just another unloved pit bull owner with a misunderstood dog.
