Summary: The man who pulled the trigger says he didn't have any choice. Kristopher Harrison has a six-year-old daughter. He says that's why he was upset when two pit bulls wandered into his backyard Saturday afternoon. Harrison says he told his next door neighbors, if it happened again, he would shoot the dogs. And that's exactly what he did on Sunday.

NOTE: Man Sentenced to 23 Years After Dog Attack on Officer

Summary: A Phoenix man was sentenced to 23 and a half years in prison. Guillermo Bustamante was found guilty on July 22 of four charges related to an assault by his dog on a Phoenix police sergeant on Oct. 31, 2007. The police officer had spotted him in a stolen car. Bustamante then ordered his Rottweiler to attack the officer, who was bitten in the arm, causing injury.
