Niagara Falls Woman Attacked by Neighbor's Pit Bull
Neighborhood Falling ApartNiagara Falls - A woman that was attacked by a pit bull received over a dozen stitches on her leg. Delia Bissell said she was in "excruciating pain" and that the pit bull also attacked her dog, Chunky, and her boyfriend. The dog belonged to a neighbor, and Delia says it wasn't on a leash. Delia and her family have since moved from the area. She expects to get rabies shots as a precaution.
Resident Cliff Porter says it is not uncommon to see loose dogs in Niagara Falls. "You see cats in and out of there. There are so many dogs and strays running around here. It's ridiculous." Porter blames urban blight for the stray problem. "Everybody who had kids done moved away from here. Everybody moved out this neighborhood. Drug infested area."
We thought Niagara Falls was a pretty place.
