Video: Dangerous Sidewalk Game with a Pit Bull

Not So Amusing
The Spanish speaking video titled, "This is My Dog, Amused" shows a sidewalk game with a pit bull. Two men try to hold a belt taunt as the pit bull bites and clamps down. This is not a game one plays with a cocker spaniel or likely any other breed. The activity serves to further increase the pit bull's already enormously strong jaws. A similar image is depicted in the famous Sports Illustrated article from 1987.

A comment on this video says, "By the way, this is a real competition for american bulldogs and pitts to find out which dog is best suited to baiting bulls. Through this competition we find out which dogs have the best traits for breeding."

Hmmm... breeding for "baiting bulls." Well, there you have it. Pits and ABs still being selected for tenacity and bear trap jaws.

Here is another incident of a pit bull attacking two children; in this case the attack occured inside a Boys and Girls club...

I don't know where the adults were, or who brought the dog in, but the people in charge should lose their jobs for not keeping kids safe.
