Oakhurst Man Throws Pit Bull at Police Officer
Assault with a Deadly WeaponOakhurst, CA - After responding to a family disturbance call, Deputy Tyson Pogue said 37-year-old Christopher Robesky grabbed one of his dogs, a pit bull, shook it violently and threw the animal at Pogue. As Tyson was able to capture the dog and get it under control, Robesky threw another dog at him, but the dog ran back to Robesky who restrained it, and tossed it back in a kennel.
Robesky was detained, but deputies say he tried to head-butt his way out of the patrol car shouting, "Wait till I get out of jail you (expletive) cops. You're dead. You better hope they keep me in jail for a long time." Robesky has been booked into the Department of Corrections on suspicion of resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a peace officer, terrorist threats and domestic violence.
After he makes bail, will he go home to his dogs?
