When are people in that community going to do something about this?

They are being taken over by the dog fighters and the dog fighters breeders.

I would just guess that the dog fighters are flooding into Mississippi from states like Georgia that have toughened up their laws.

It was only by chance that that baby was not slaughtered in front of their eyes.

It will eventually happen.

And I cannot understand why people are leaving small dogs outside when there are pit bulls around. Why are they exposing their pets to this?

If authorities do not act to regulate pit bulls, soon people will n ot be able to leave their homes there.

The answer is, do the local authorities have the courage to stand up to the dog fighters and their friends that will try to stop regulation? Or are they going to wait for a fatality?

The saddest thing in that article is the ex-weather girl "reporter" getting used by a UKC pit breeder.

He played her like a flute!

The pit breeders in the Jackson area must be getting nervous about their affairs getting looked into, so they hauled out a representative to cook up a big batch of propaganda to fool the girl reporter.

OMG! You simply must click on this blog title and read the former weather girl's actual story. That reporter's article is so poorly written that it is not even funny! How on earth did she win so many awards for journalism? And how naive is she that she allowed her story to be hijacked by a pit-bull apologist? That part is so obvious that anyone can see it, but apparently not her. Either that, or she is using this article to spread her own pit-bull fairly-land beliefs.
