Two centuries of systematic cruelty by the fighting breed fancy continues...The taxpayer, mauling victims and the dogs themselves pay for it!

Happy Thanksgiving?? My face was mauled at 3:30 that afternoon at a friends house. Shattered my glasses which is what saved my eye. I now have 20 stitches from the left corner of my eye to my hairline, a fishhook look if you would. The owners were amazed and shocked but Im still dealing with the pain. Should I contact the homeowners insurance? Im hurting and confused and I'll probobly loose my job on the pipeline. Help

To the anonymous poster, report this attack to your local law enforcement, to your local and county Dog Wardens, to your local health department. Make absolutely sure your bite report is correctly filed. Do not hesitate to contact an attorney. If the owners of this dog have insurance you can bet that the claims department will try to minimize your injuries, you need someone to look out for your interests. Your friend may not be so friendly when he realizes just how serious this is. Get a notebook and record the name, title, phone number, date of contact of every single person you talk to on this. Record the content of every contact. This may be very valuable in the future.
