Animal Control KNEW these dogs were a danger, a problem, and running loose.

Animal Control and the city need to be hit with lawsuits.

They have blood on their hands.

Lillian's Law seems to be seldomly used...The Level 5 off property attacks keep occurring in Texas!

Does anyone know if charges were pursued after the Denise Rocha incident?

Could it be when the victims are lower income women that officials do not respect them enough to use LIllian's Law?

What will it take to get corrupt officials to respect the law? Why do criminals get special handling and special care and protection?

I hope that Miss Victoria's family has called the lawyers. Besides the owners of the dogs, the city and Animal Control need to get hit hard with lawsuits.

They allowed this to happen to this lady.

They need to get sued so that others will not get mauled and killed.

Excellent insight anonymous. El Paso county...not particularly on the list of "doers and prosecutions." But they are on the list of fatal attacks in Texas, just as the "non-prosecuting" county of Bexar is...

I would hope a woman's rights organization will deal with authorities in Texas if Lillian's Law is ignored if women are attacked.

This is what one would think, yes. But highly praised -- for her "victims advocacy" -- District Attorney of Bexar County, Susan Reed, seems to be doing little...

In fact, Bexar is the third most populated county in Texas, but is at the bottom of the bucket for prosecuting under Lillian's Law.

Must be the home of the cowboy lawyer who fought against Lillian's Law, Jeff Shaver.
