Dogsbite.org - On April 16, 5-year old Frankie Flora was brutally attacked by a relative's pit bull in Wappingers, New York. Frankie suffered severe injuries to his face, scalp and neck and received over 1,000 stitches. The 1-year old pit bull had been adopted at the age of 3-months from Out of the Pits, a group dedicated to rescuing pit bulls.
