Thanks for reporting this very terrible attack, DBO. I have to say that I really miss reading these blog entries on a daily basis.

FOLKS, PIT BULLS ARE A MAN MADE PROBLEM, BRED TO INFLICT MAXIMUM PHYSICAL DAMAGE. HOW MANY TIMES, I REPEAT, HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN BEFORE PEOPLE REALIZE HOW "DIFFERENT" PIT BULLS ARE?

How do future conversations work with the son? "I'm sorry my dog nearly tore off your arm Mom; at least he didn't get both." ??? Janet Hartman's life has been forever altered because her son and his girlfriend thought it a "good idea" to tie a mountain lion to a tree in the yard of their home. My bet is, they will keep the dog, or worse, they will send it to a rescue group (too afraid to euthanize it) so that an innocent adopter will end up with this mauler.

"Champion" breeding stock for meth lab protection dogs right there!

Lee Carrol had no problem selling the pups from the dogs that caused Brenda Hill to lose her leg. What type of sane individual would want a pup from that litter?!?

And in Louisiana another woman requiring reconstructive surgery on her arm after a pit bull pushed the door open and attacked the mother of 4. The owner received a ticket.

The Louisiana attack was on a potential customer coming over to inspect a litter of pups!

We are seeing more and more human aggressive pit breeding operations...The great thing is they aren't paying income and sales taxes!

Here is another example of what a pit bull attack can do...

http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index.ssf/2009/10/hurting_hero_pain_from_pit_bul.html

Take a good look at the stumps that are this man's fingers...he tried to intervene when he saw three pit bulls attacking a woman on the street, and they turned on him. Read about the extent of his injuries...does anyone sane believe that three Golden Retrievers could do this much damage?

Mama was dropping off money, too, when she got attacked.
I hate when parents enable their adult kids.
