2010 Fatality: Woman, 63-Years Old, Allegedly Killed by Family Rottweiler
Found in DrivewayCleveland Heights, OH - In a developing story, a woman was allegedly killed by her family dog early Sunday morning. Carolyn Baker, 63, was found in a pool of blood outside her home by her husband Ricardo Baker at about 3:30 am. When police arrived, they discovered that Baker had severe injuries to her right arm and shoulder, along with other bite marks inflicted by the family's rottweiler-mix. She was taken to Huron Road Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Despite the many bite wounds, family members do not believe the dog caused her death. They told reporters, "It was a 'good' dog." An autopsy is expected Monday, and the incident remains under investigation.
